Conduct Self-Propelled Compactor Operations describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a self-propelled compactor to perform spreading, leveling, and compacting operations. This unit applies to those working in site-based roles and requires the completion of conduct self-propelled compactor operations that safely, effectively, and efficiently follow workplace procedures to carry out work activity on at least two occasions.

- Drive and operate Compactor, and modify the operating technique to meet changing work conditions

- Conduct house keeping
PRE-REQUISITES
- Ability to comprehend the English language

DURATION
1 full day – could be variable dependent upon applicants ability
TRAINING & ASSESSMENT
Two (2) assessments will be conducted – Knowledge and Practical Assessments.
LICENCES & CERTIFICATION
This course is a Nationally Recognised Training and applicants’ deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet-size competency card.
