Haul Truck - RIGID

COURSE OVERVIEW

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate, load, haul and dump materials using a rigid haul truck.

In this haul truck training course, you will learn the skills to conduct haul truck operations in the civil construction and mining industries.

TOPICS COVERED

• Plan and prepare for Rigid Haul Truck Operations.
• Operate Rigid Haul Truck in line with establish requirements to complete work activity.
• Load, haul and dump materials to complete work activity.
• Conduct housekeeping activities to a Rigid Haul Truck.

PRE-REQUISITES

• Ability to comprehend the English language

• A USI Number (Unique Student Identifier) Visit: www.usi.gov.au

• Safety footwear

DURATION

1 day - Variable dependent upon applicants ability/experience.

Please note: This course is onsite assessment using your Haul truck.

TRAINING & ASSESSMENT

Two (2) assessments will be conducted at the completion of training – Knowledge and Practical Assessments.

LICENCES & CERTIFICATION

This course is a Nationally Recognised Training and applicants’ deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and a wallet-size competency card.
